2006/02/28 A streaming sample by K SOFT was introduced in the NTT Communication’s Power Platform website. Streaming is the technology to view media files on the Internet in real-time. It allows viewers to play heavy and long video files very smoothly by compressing it and enables to view high quality image with minimum deterioration. Due to the ever expanding usage of high speed broadband connections and WIFI, this technology will be utilized in various areas, such as voice recordings, video news, seminars, launch events, live broadcast, internet radio, web broadcasting, music distribution, etc. This technology, which leaves stronger impact to the viewers than it does with still image and text, will be an attracting promotion and marketing tool for many companies, and even create contents distributions business opportunities.
